No Gain Without Pain

Almost a month again since my last entry. Where does the time go? I have really no idea. I wonder if this is how you feel when you are 80. Where did my life go?

I have been really enjoying the nice weather we are having lately, so nice. So good for my mood and skin! Unfortunately, it doesnt solve my “almost burnout”. I have the worst motivation problems you can have. I have two exams coming up, one is rather big, and I cannot get started. It is awful. I know I need a degree soon, I know that I have no future at the post office nor do I want to be a mailman all of my life. And still. Damn. I know I keep saying it, but I really do need a miracle. A big one.

I finished my Diminishing Rib Cardigan and I started with Amelia yesterday. Photos soon.

Readingwise, I finished The Witch Of Portobello a few days ago. An OK book. Nice to read, at times you go “ah ok, interesting”, and that was already it. Maybe a bit too esoteric for me. Nevertheless, I want to read more from that author, just because he seems to have had an interesting life and lots to tell because of it.

I have been spending money like crazy lately. It makes me happy for a little while. Lots of turtle things and stuff for the house and garden. I miss my parents more than usual and the big arguments with my brother continue. I am at a huge crossroad it seems, and the cars keep rolling over me until I decide to move on. But as said before, no motivation at all right now. Hope dies last!

One of our bunnies died yesterday. Totally unexpected and very sad. You should think I am used to it by now. 😯 We really need “to smoke out” the house. There is way too much bad energy still in here.

What did you think of the latest House episode? I was so dumb to read the spoilers before I watched the episode. Argh. I didnt like the episode, maybe I need to rewatch it.

So far so good. I think I will knit some more now. Not that I should do anything else…

Ergh, I know the feeling regarding motivation. I have exams to revise for and an essay to write but I only got home a week ago.

Sorry to hear about your bunny 🙁

I was really surprised at the last House episode (series 5?) I never saw that coming and am excited to see how they continue the plot.

Oh, Connie…so sorry about your bunny. No, I guess it never gets easier as I know with all my budgies. Each one is a little personality & soul.

I have no motivation either…there must be something in the ether.

    Enjoy all your little purchases.

There was the rumour in the ait that this would happen, but of course they didnt way whom it would be. Everyone and me guessed Taub! It would have have made perfect sense, but then, thats House! 🙂

How would you ever decide, be an actor in House or go to the White House and work for Obama. I could never decide!

Enjoy your holidays first Sweetie, you worked hard enough for them!

I know!!! I hadn’t even thought that the script would ever go that way.

Hmm, that would be a very tough decision wouldn’t it. I don’t blame him wanting to work for Obama.

Hehe, well, I’ve been home a week and got to do some more work this afternoon 🙁 Hope your studying is going well.
