I had a post written earlier to be published later, but it seems silly to post such trivial things when the pope is dying. When I was born, he was already pope. I grew up with my Mom watching him on TV on Eastersundays. He was here in Salzburg twice, and one time I was an altargirl celebrating a mass with thousands of people from all over the world in the inner city before our dome. A newsshow picked me up and I was on national television giving an interview! It is a sad day, whatever your relation to the church is. He looks very peaceful, according to a speaker from the Vatikan.
