The Trilogy
POSTED in: Turtelina

We watched all three parts of The Lord Of The Rings today, and even though we all saw them already, we were still magnitised infront of the tv. The first 90 minutes will always be my favourite, but each part makes you think, and appreciate all the people that gave their life when they thought for us in the World Wars.

It REALLY gave me goosebumps when I thought of all the people that had no choice but go into the war. I always wanted to join the army, AM I INSANE???

Two of my close relatives were taken prisoner in WW 2. One was sent to Russia, and one to Florida. We were so lucky that both of them returned home after many years. My friends grandfather was hung in captivity. My Uncle and family lived off of care packages, being born right after the war had ended. I feel so ungrateful for forgetting. For taking so much for granted. But back to Lord Of The Rings…

To come to the ultimate LOTR question: where do you think did the last ship with Frodo, Gandalf and Co go?

I would say they went to Aslans Country, but this is another book told by another author. 😉 Did they go to a parallel universe? Are they going to live forever there? Are the others to meet them wherever they are once they die? I want to know, dont let me die stupid please!

Better go, the Superbowl has already started. The deaf and blind kids at the anthem gave me goosebumps. Oh, and Bill Clinton seems to look better, just spotted him, me and billions of others. Our commentaters hated the army singing the anthem by the way.
