Christmas Day All Over
POSTED in: Daily Life

Daddy got home at around 5.30 pm yesterday, and he already has to go back now at 8.00 am. I dont think I was ever up at 7.00 am on this day. BRUTAL! I think it is a joke, as he is laying around in the hospital all day anyway. Ah well, at least he got to go home, with a bloodsugar of 450. Which means we cant be doing too much wrong, if it is that high in there too after almost a week. HOORAY! 😀

Christmas was inrecidble stressful! I didnt get done with the tree until 9.00 pm, and we didnt have dinner until 10.00 pm. BUT: it was nice. We all needed that badly for our soul. You cannot go on the way you have, at every routine thing, your heart gets ripped out, because so very clearly, someone is missing. Which was the reason why I put up the tree somewhere else this year. We opened the presents, somewhere else. And it was good. 😉 Unlike last year, my Dad was up and opened his presents with us. My brother loved his presents, and his one sock (HAHA), and I got presents, too.

Shoes! I have such big problems with buying shoes, I wear one pair all the time, no matter if it snows or if it has 30 degrees. 😳 I got a really nice jacket from PUMA *yummy*, and a Kakuro game (oh Luise du musst mit mir spielen! :-P). I was spoiled! And it felt good. ➡ And of course the presents to myself, just in case. *blush*

raupensocken.jpg The socks (photo) were delivered too, and they fit perfectly, at least judging after the first glance. A trade in for a very lovely plush turtle, at which you have already looked below, and a coupon for the zoo!

I think I might head back to bed now. Merry Christmas, again!
