The Bewitched Life
POSTED in: Daily Life

Bewitched I have been watching the second season of Bewitched. Ever since watching the first season, I have a thing for Gladys Kravitz who is just hillarious! Probably most of us havent been alive when the show aired, so we cant really know. But she started to look deathly ill in season two, and its a pain to look at the once so “lively” Gladys, now all bones. And then, on disk 3, she is suddenly gone. Which cant have been right! So I read up on her. Diagnosed with terminal cancer before the show began, Pearce kept her illness a secret, but died from ovarian cancer during the second season at the age of 48. Read on. Another tragedy.

I have been thinking how people and families ever deal with such a thing. We have gone through so much, SO MUCH, but I cant bare to think of living through this. My teacher yesterday told me about a teacher that I had in school, who felt perfectly fine. Then one day she had shoulder pain, went to the doctor, and was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and six months later, she was dead. As her husband or kid, how do you live through this?

I have a friend, who is the nicest person on earth, but she has a perfect life. While I try to trick my brain with a billion things to be able to exist, she questions and highly doubts my belief in the spirit world, and my belief in destiny. Which makes sense, as she never had to live through anything similar.

The question is: why have people such bad luck and some get through life without anything, how is it fair?

To get back on topic… what I hate about old shows like Bewitched is, that most of the actors are already dead!
