Thank you so much for posting here on Free For All Friday Kathrin, Nikkiana, Erin, Lucy, Anuschka, Nicki, Rain, and Gema! ➡ I left comments on everyones entry! 😀
Happy sweating everyone! Apparently this weekend is going to be the hottest May weekend ever. It is already 30 degrees, I dont like that heat at all.
My parents are flying to Kos on Wednesday for two weeks. I am so jelous! I wish they would take my brother with them, I detest staying home with him.
I saw a remarkable young woman on tv yesterday. I used to regularly check the Austrian and German book bestseller lists, but when we cancelled our tv magazine, all lies in there, that was the end of that. Well anyway, that woman grew up in Papua Neuginea with cannibals. That clan is completly cut off from the modern world, and thats why they almost live like they did back then in stoneage. Her parents are missionary workers and linguists, and they do good work there, and really only that was the reason why the leader of that “clan” allowed them to live with them. Interesting. She lived there from 8 to 17, and after she returned she wrote a book about it. I cant wait to get my hands on that book. Alone how she looks at people and listens. Incredible.
My booklist is completly updated. When I started Weetzie Bat I really didnt think I would like it. But its brilliant, just read the quotes from the book and you will understand. Anyway. I started Alice Adventures In Wonderland And Through The Looking Glass yesterday. Did you know that Lewis Carrol is just another pseudonym? His real name was Charles Dodgson, and he loved art and photopgraphs. For quite a while he denied all connections to the Alice books. The little girl on which Alice is based, is quite charming too. There are a ton of books on her, and her connections to Lewis Carroll. Did anyone read her biography?
I am going to melt away now. 😛

I´m in a craft mood ^^
Hoorah for the Weekend!
