How rotten can a day be…
I woke up today at around 1.30 am with my face completly swollen. I then tried to get the swelling down so that I can go to work, which worked to some degree, but it went back to swollen at work. So I am hyper sensitive because of that.
Delivery went well, I get back to the mainquarters. Somehow the other mail carriers in this delivery area where I am right now dont like me. They made fun of me on the lowest level, this one guy laughed so cynically in my face while still making fun of me. I said could you stop that, he continued, and they all laughed. That went on, until I packed all my work in a box and went upstairs…
… and completly started to bawl my eyes out. Such assholes. Doing that to a healthy me is bad enough, but to a “sick” me, go to hell. These guys are well passed 30.
The bad thing is, I have 5 more days in that delivery area. Yes, I have one more week, this other group leader asked me yesterday if I couldnt stay one more week. Now 3 different group leaders asked me. That happens when you know everybody.
On a good note the other people told me that they cant imagine that someone doesnt like me. Whatever. I am way too proud to give in and pull out of the contract. I will work those 5 days, and leave work with a high head.
And wish those idiots everything bad and more.

*When you point a finger as someone else you’re pointing 3 fingers back at yourself.* Those guys are an embarrassment to themselves. They must be very insecure if they have nothing better to do.
In the US you could bring them up on charges…jerks. You can do it Connie…leave with your head held high like you say. I’m rooting for you!!!

Gee, you’d think people would mature with age. I’d expect something like that from a bunch of elementary school kids, but not from thirty-something year old men. People are awful. Do keep your head held high, and know that they’ll get what they deserve.

What absolute dickheads! Good on you for agreeing to do those 5 days.
You can’t let them win. Don’t lower yourself to their standards which are the lowest of the lowest! Hope your face feels better!

i am so sorry to hear about the “a” holes your gotta work with, it is good your leaving in 5 days or so, i hope your face gets better too [hugs]
