Yes, I Still Read

No, I havent given up reading over the last few weeks, I just didnt have the mindset to update my reading lists.

I read (and I still need a reading turtel pixel, mmpfh):

Talking To Heaven, James Van Praagh
A book I read already some years ago, but I reread it to give me some “comfort”. Along with it I read a bunch of Larry King Transcripts, at least all these various mediums agree with what they tell the world. I want to believe of course. But I havent heard anything from my Mom yet, which is good in one way, because I would drop dead if I would see her ghost floating around. 😉 I am waiting.

On Death And Dying, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
Another book where you just want to believe, but as in the one above, it all seems plausible, until something happens that just makes you think “has she gone insane”? Like where she tells about this dead lady approaching her, talking to her, and writing her a note. That was the point where I gave up on it. What a shame.

Die drei Fragezeichen und das Geheimnis der Saerge, Alfred Hitchcock
Cant live too long without The Three Investigators series 🙂

And right now I am in the midst of:

Unterland, Wolfgang Hohlbein
A 700 + page book, could still take a while. I am not into fantasy really. And not after this either.

I can’t even begin to count the signs my mother has sent me in the last year. Her 1st one came the night I came home from her funeral & it made me laugh. She had/has quite the sense of humor.

Don’t look for ghosts —just see, hear & smell the things that you associate with her & think, perhaps, she has had a hand in getting you to notice them…like her favorited song playing the background when you walk into a store…or a wrapper from her favorite food that you might spot on the street as you walk along. These little things will come to you without having to look for them & when you least expect them.

Thank you so much Lucy, as always! You give me incredible comfort, thank you.
