The American President
POSTED in: Daily Life

The american president is coming to Austria for a short visit today. However unexciting that is. What makes it exciting is, that the whole thing will cost Austria about one million Euros, money mainly spent in the security measures that need to be taken. So much money, that could have done so much good! It makes me furious that this will be paid for with part of my hard earned money. (taxes!)

Amusing fact: did you know that Bush travels with bags of blood (we do have blood donors here too!) in case of an emergency?

They are closing down part of Vienna, and they even changed the timetables and routes of public transportation. Lets spell CHAOS!

This is rediculous. We dont want him here, at least everone I know doesnt want him here.

All I can think off is, how much grief he “brought” to so many families.

bad english day today

I would say *you can keep him*…but I wouldn’t wish that on you or the people of Austria. I didn’t know about the extra blood…very interesting. Too bad he doesn’t have a spare brain (preferably not like his own!) Can you tell I live in a *blue* (didn’t want him, didn’t vote for him) state?!!!!! 👿

I am so sorry your country is spending so much on my president, it’s really not necessary. LOL well you should see what it’s like near my home when he visits, i live next to the major airport here and it closes all down too. X-)

I know the feeling, so much money being spent which could go to a worthier cause. We were talking about top English football players, they get paid £100,000 per week, which is more than the vast majority of the population earn in a year. One top footballer earns £40 for 5 minutes work! Why do they get paid so much!!
