And This Was 2006

I cannot believe that 2006 will be over in merly 5 hours. Scary how fast time flies once you are past childhood… The past few years I have lived by the Never Look Back strategy, looking back on what I have all not achieved, would have been too depressing anyway! And God forbid New Year Resolutions, I am definitly not going to set myself up for failure, just to be upset all over again!

This past year, I still had to waddle through truckloads of grief, and all I remember is grieving, more grieving, and then some more. I am the Mistress of Disguise, the Champ in Pretending! But with this, there is no escape, you are constantly reminded of it, you need to deal constantly, and I am definitly no medal winner in dealing, and seconds can be longer than a lifetime, this I have learned.

The Imminant Death Of Him

So, how many people are watching CNN right now?

Ok, so I am not afflicted in whatever sort, and I realize, I would probably feel very differently if I would be, but I feel it is so wrong, to kill someone by purpose. And it is incredible insane to know, that someone will definitly die in the next 3 hours.

I dont care who he is, I feel exactly the same when people on deathrow are being killed. It is just so wrong. And I dont understand, how people can be so religious, and still do this, after all it sais to not do what you have been done to in the Bible, right?

Also, how can you make people kill and how can a judge or jury make a man a murderer? The one pressing the buttons, giving the injections, whatever.

Then, remember when Karla Fay Tucker (or what was she called) was killed. She apparently devoted her life to God, like so many have and do. Saddam also feels that he will meet God soon, but what is if there is no God? What is if there is nothing but dirt and bugs? Where do these people get their faith from, dont they need proof as well to devote something like their life to someone who possibly might not exist?

I feel extremly uncomfortable, not that it changes anything. But how bad must you feel going to your own execution. I dont want to imagine.

I am writing up a review of 2006, my mind is all tangled up.
