“Lazy” Life Here I Come

I imagewas so ready for vacation once last weekend ended but now it finally is here: my 4 weeks off work and Uni! It is so unbelievable, that I just cannot believe it! HEAVEN! Absolute and pure heaven. Of course there is so much to do around the house, infront of the house, our porch, a Uni paper needs to be written, but I will have plenty of time to sew and read, and hike, and skate and bake andandand… ➡ ➡

Exactly a week ago, little Emma turned 1 year old! Of course she still has so many behaviour issues which are not acceptable anymore, which will need working on in the next 4 weeks…my brother and I are full with scratches and bruises! Can you believe it when you look at this?

For her birthday, Emma got a new ball to play with. She destroyed her last one a while ago. Thank you dear God for letting me wake up at 5.30am on my first vacation weekend :o… we went on an early morning walk and yep, Emma still loves to catch the ball! all photos on my photo stream!

Today I made tomatoe-cheese-egg on toast cups for breakfast. They were really good! 😆 Also made cinnamon buns which didnt rise at all, but they got almost all eaten anyway. I guess we were hungry…

This past week was very un-stressful. I am so enjoying not having to run to Uni after work… I get to lay down, sleep if I want to, read absolutely brilliant George Martin books, inline skating, watch the Tour de France – which is fantastic all in itself!… Speaking of George Martin, I had to get more books this week, as I suffered withdrawal immediately after finishing book 6… Book 6 was amazing, it would be the equivalent of the American book 3 – part 2: loved the fights by the wall! Goosebumps all the way. 😀 Apparently, Martins medieval knowledge is even more impressive in the English version, with the various dialects and alike. I have always been impressed how much he does know of that time! So once I finish the German books, I am going to start the English ones. I had to train an Uni collegue in my delivery area this past three days, he read all the Game Of Thrones books in English, I would have never known of the difference between the two versions. We had the Kafka The Castle presentation together and now he is going my delivery area for the four weeks that I am off work. I hope it will work out, he fell asleep in the postal car on Thursday…

I found this statistic on Runtastic the other day, of all the tracked exercises we have been doing, makes eating all these baked Goodies almost ok!

Also met my obgyn twice this week. It is so very odd to meet him outside the hospital, but he is living in my delivery area. Thats how it is. He is really nice though. Will be weird to be naked once again infront of him this week. Nothing about oddities, I should be used to them at this point in life. 🙂

And another birthday is in order! Turtelina.net will turn 12 years on Tuesday, another thing I cannot believe. Made lots of childish drawings to celebrate!

This past week was full with odd complains, but I also felt the kindness of people once again, as I got money for my vacation from a man in my delivery area! Madness. Not too sure what this week will bring, but we will definitely climb the Untersberg! Have a very good week Lovelies, take good care!

Emma, go get that ball & BEHAVE!!!
Wow, it never occurred to me that the translation would be so different than the English. How dare they!

Your food pics make me crazy! Yummy!

Have a great 4 weeks of freedom Connie & HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Turtelina.net. So glad I found you! 😀

@Lucy: THANK YOU Lucy! ➡ I hope Emma heard you. Lots of HUGS! 🙂

@Peter: Danke.
