Harry Potter Clues Chapter 1 and 2

// this post contains short plotlines of book 5, beware if you haven´t read Harry Potter 5 yet

I have been buzy the last few hours to work on the first 2 chapters of The Order Of The Phoenix. There is a HUGE clue already in the first 30 pages, huge huge huge.

The New Clues Book tells us, that there are a couple of words and numbers in the book, that appear all the time in different forms. She uses these words (synonms of them) in names, she uses them in different languages, ect. If you look for them, you´ll find them everywhere. Now of course, the book only gives us hints, and leaves it up to us, to figure out what JKR doesn´t want us to see right away. *brutal!*

In my first read through the book, I completly read over it. But it is so obvious, if you know what to look for.

There is one number as dominant as no other number in the whole book. 2
A word that JKR loves in book 5: wheel

In the first chapter, Dudley talks about hitting a boy. Remember his name? Mark Evans

In chapter 28, the chapter about Snapes worst memory, is there a familiar name in it? Yes, Evans.

What does that tell you? Combine it, it´s so obvious!!!

2 – wheel (cirle, round) – reoccuring “things”

Do you get one of the biggest hidden clues? Leave a comment.

What might that tell us for the upcoming 2 books? Not sure about that either, what do you think? I think it is going to be huge! And maybe like in The 6th Sense, we are going to have one huge flash. So many hints, and noone realized a thing.

This is only a theory, but an anagram of Severus Snape… Perseus (greek god) Evans. When you look at this page which summarizes the myth behind Perseus, you´ll also find a familiar name. Minerva. Coincidence? No! There is no such thing as coincidence in the HP books.

By the way, what is Petunias (Mom of Dudley) and Lilys (Mom of Harry) maiden name? Evans.

Evans is another HUGE clue for the upcoming books, which I haven´t figured out yet.

Excellent page! Look for whatever character you want. You´ll find a brilliant summary of who that person (or animal) is, where to find the name in the books, and the passages where the name is mentioned.

  • Does Harry Potter have a birthdate? You bet he does.
  • I also really like this book review and this interview.
