How To…
POSTED in: Daily Life

… catch a mouse ❓

We have a mouse in the house. We think that it is only one. It is really cute, it used to live out on the porch, and had great fun there eating our gras semen!

However it cannot live in the house. So my brother and dad went out to buy a mouse trap, but because they didnt want to buy a human one for 8 Euros, they bought a deadly one for much less.

I hated the thought of the mouse getting killed like that, it is brutal!!!, that I was ecstatic each morning when I saw the cheese gone, but the trap empty, yay mouse, way to go! 😛

Today I went and bought the human one, and if I am successful, I am going to post the photos tomorrow.

Awww. Poor mouse! I hope it can get out of your house alive. Just put up a new layout but it isn’t working in 1024×768 resolution, darn, so will have to fix it. Your friend hasn’t emailed me about Christmas music yet.

I have no idea about frames at all Nicki, otherwise I would help you. Hmmm. I am sure the mouse will survive, it is a smart one!

The humane traps tend to work better. We use them for squirrels and chipmunks that set up house in our roof. Wish you the best of luck getting him out safely!

i am with you on the humane trap thing but, i am inclined to tell this story:
we discover a mouse, trapped in our sink. my brother’s girlfriend wants us to save it from the cat so we let it loose outside.
seems like a nice thing to do right?
it’s the corner of ossington and queen (i think) there was a school right next door to our apartment – hedges lining the place in a nice impersonation of nature so, hippies that we were, we decide to let the mouse free in the bushes.
only the mouse has different ideas and jumps down onto the sidewalk and makes a beeline across the road.
    rush hour. 4 lanes…

we watched that mouse cross 3 lanes before we lost sight of it.

it might have had a better chance with the cat.

We were chasing a mouse around our house late last night as well. Hubby will be getting traps today. I want to try the peanut butter thing; seems like it would be harder to grab and run.
