I have to say this now because it bothers me. 🙄
Because of all these spam protections, which I can understand, but leaving comments anywhere has become a hazard. I get spam messages all over. Either I get to the pay page, or I get to a page that tells me my comment was filtered as spam, or I am transferred to a site where I need to copy the number of a picture which Firefox doesnt display.
Not to mention how many lengthy comments were lost because I didnt enter my Email addie in WordPress blogs.
I used to be a top commenter at a lot of sites, but really, I am getting pretty fed up with all of those things that I listed above. So if I revert back to reading only without commenting, this is why.

Hm I know, I hate typing a comment and then getting it lost because I haven’t put an email address. I get spam from your site because I have left emails whilst commenting. You don’t have to comment all the time, I know you stop by though. So don’t worry about not commenting on mine 🙂

I know Nicki, and for that I am sorry. I have removed your email address from a whole lot of entries, and you know that you can forward me the spam message so I can remove your addie from them too.

Girlfriend I totally agree! You said it. I am very fearful of commenting places cause I get spammed so bad. UGH. I know many many people who don’t comment cause of it just like you said you do sometimes. DAMN SPAM!
