I hate pity. It is useless and very often phony. Some people want it, I never did. Why say how sorry you are over something that is past already anyway, or about something that cant be changed. I would much rather hear how your day went. Having said that…
My tortoise died today.
Why, noone knows. She ate well, she drank well, and then she is dead. This is sad beyond words and I will miss her so terribly much, but nothing can be made undone…

Aww, Connie, my condolences. I really am sorry to hear that. 🙁 I know how awful it is to lose an animal, or anyone you love for that matter.
And because you’d rather hear about my day: I finished reading ‘Alanna: The First Adventure’, watched most of ‘Frida’ on the movie network, and got some X-Men action figures in the mail.

It was finally almost warm here today but that won’t last. Don’t know if the buds will ever find their way onto our trees. I need sun & warm weather…otherwise I’m just too tired everyday.

Oh no, I know how sad it is when a tortoise dies for no reason, my grandad’s tortoise died :(.
My day, well as usual, being a bit of an addict I am online at half past 8 in the morning, frustrated at why one site I want to go to hasn’t been working for 24 hours, grr. I am thinking about what to have for breakfast, and we might go into town later.

I’m so sorry to hear about the tortoise, Connie. 🙁 Why can’t pets just stay with us forever??
My day so far hasn’t been very eventful since I just woke up an hour and a half ago and went to work (where I am now!
). I upgraded my WP to 1.5 last night and I love it.

So sorry the hear that. (Not pity, just as close as you can get online to giving someone else a hug!)
I’ve always heard about young tortoises being rather fragile, and I’m sure you gave her the best life you could. I’m sure she knew she was loved.
My day… It was my boyfriend’s day off so we just walked around the shops all day, had some dinner, and played some pool. ‘Twas fun. 🙂
