Turtle Crafts
POSTED in: Turtelina

Happy Birthday Austria! 60 years Second Republic! (no, this is not the same entry as yesterday, I was one day too early with my celebrations, the excitement got to my head)

To all the craft people out there, I found some Turtle Craft sites:

Turtle Crafts Page One
Turtle Crafts Page Two
Turtle Bread
Turtle Bead Keychain

The next thing I want to make is a Turtle Ipod Cover, and then the keychain probably. 😎

The We learn about Austria every single day! on Connies blog fact for today:

Right after the war had ended, 75.000 Austrian children were brought to Switzerland to save them from their otherwise certain death of starvation. If it would be 1945 right now, I would not sit infront of my Laptop, but rather listen to the American Radio Channel “Red White Red“, the only radio channel back then in Salzburg. And from that fact we gather: Salzburg was occupied by Americans, who also brought chocolate and bubble gum over with them! Something all people who where kids back then still talk about to this day!

Dont forget to return on Friday for your One time chance to blog on this site, as we ring in another fun round of Free For All Friday!.

The background is horrible, but I was in a hurry:

Hug donations will be stored for times in need. *blush*

Ooh, turtle crafts! So cute! I’d make all those lovely crocheted ones if I could crochet, but alas, I can only knit. 😉 I’ll definitely give the beaded keychain a try though. And happy birthday to Austria!

Crochetting is really similar to knitting. I am sure there are instructions on the Web somewhere, it is easy, nothing you couldnt master easily! 🙂

Here is a *hug* donated to you 😀
All those turtle crafts look so good. If only I had time for some fun. Tonight I have to revise for 2 tests, practice my flute as I am being properly assessed tomorrow, and some general revision. ARGH! Happy birthday Austria! 😀 I won’t forget FFAF 🙂
