Yesterday was the day when we got our GCSE (exam) results back.
I was so nervous, because I really didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t want to build my hopes up, and the fact was that the grades that were in the envelope could decide my future!

I had to go into school at 8am in the morning because I had been chosen to have my photo done with the paper. It was the most nerve wracking thing, ever! We got there early and had to wait around for a long time, the suspense was killing everybody there I think.

Finally I got the envelope, and I just wanted to know what I had. Before I say my grades, I’ll explain, they are graded from A*-G, with A* being the highest, G being the lowest pass and anything below that ungraded. I didn’t think the exams had gone that well at all, well some of them anyway, but I ended up with 9 A*s and 1 A. It was the second highest in the school (I think), as my friend got 10 A*. I am still shocked, especially how I got the highest grade in Maths – a subject which I don’t find easy.

Anyway, today I am still happy from that and as it is 8.16am I haven’t got anything else to talk about!
