My Socks Are In The Washer

The impossibe has happened. 😈 I ran out of wool, shortly before starting on the toes of my second sock. I cannot believe it. And since this was wool I found at home, there is no chance of getting more. BAD LUCK. They are in the washer right now, but I predict that they will look rediculous, with that rather ugly brown that I had to take instead. Btw, my wool still hasnt arrived.

After I read on The Protagonist Board that Belgium offers free be domains (until January), I registered myself connieknits.be. But “the order” is still being processed. They have a rather huge backlog after what I gather. I wish Austria would go down on its domain prices. They are unaffordable.

There is a really interesting documentation on ARTE (Satellite Astra) at 8.15 pm MET. Read more about it here. It is about a 13 year old, who was accepted at the “Conservatoire national de danse de Paris”. Really interesting. First part was yesterday, but 4 parts are still to come. I recommend watching it if you are interested.

❗ I have been wondering if I should take this semester off. But since I am not really that successful in getting forward with my education anyway, I better drop that idea again.

Oh no! I hope you can find the same wool soon!!! The socks look great though 😀 I wish I could take some time off school, but it wouldn’t really be a good idea.

Ack, I hate running out of yarn. It’s one of those terribly annoying, bound-to-happen-when-you-least-expect-it-to occurences. Pissy. :[

Taking a year (or any amount of time, for that matter) off from school wouldn’t work for me either. I’d get too used to the practice of not having all that extra work and stress.
