Some FOS For Christmas

Things have been incredibly buzy in the making knitted christmas presents buisness. I knit, and frog, knit some more, frog more, and at the end of the day, nothing got done.

And so it came, that of the billion things that I had planned as giveaways, only two managed to get done. Sad.

It is a Griffindor scarf bookmark, idea from here, and a Christmas tree ornament, idea from here. The bookmark was fun to make, the ornament was nerv wrecking, and I dont think I will repeat it anytime soon.

My theory, that the chefs of the distribution center care incredible little about its mailmen, and especially student carriers, got confirmed yesterday, when my mobile rang. I was asked to work over Christmas and New Year. Considering my current situation, I find it incredible that they even dare to ask. And really, I am in the mood to puke in some faces. Sorry for my language, but see, they use me just as they wish. 😥

On to better news, my brothers scarf will be finished shortly. Only 61 rows of the 5th Alien head to go. Plus, I need to get another Mini Turtle Keychain done for my guitar teacher by tomorrow. How and when I will do that, no idea, as I am invited to a Goodbye Party from a mail carrier tonight, who finally can now deliver mail in the country, where he lives, as opposed to the city (long car ride every day). I will miss him, he was cool.

So much for now, to be continued.

The knitting is ADORABLE! The sweater ornament looks nerve wracking but worth it in the end!!!

Merry Christmas to you Connie. I know it’s a tough one but I wish you peace of mind & lots of chocolate to get you through. Give your fingers a rest too!
