Ticks Are Disgunting
POSTED in: Turtelina

Tick season has started, and the poor doggie fell victim to them already multiple times this year. They are incredible disgusting, unfortunatly our garden is packed with them. We bought the dog an anti collar 🙂 yesterday, at least she wont be sucked out anymore.

Last Saturday my Dad started to display the same symptoms as my Mom did in the end. It was worst on Sunday, I cried the whole day. He was incredible confused, he didnt know how to do anything anymore, he didnt even know how to eat. It was bad bad bad bad. Reading it now, it sounds so harmless, but it was SO bad. I was so sure that he wouldnt get to see the next day, and I had already decided, that if this is to happen, I will not see the next day either.

At this point, he is doing a little better, at least headwise. But he is still sleeping all day, as he has for the last 9 months. This situation is extremly draining, I am putting all of my energy into him, and get nothing back whatsoever. But this is what it takes to at least keep my last parent around.

To better news, my first Broadripple sock got done a few days ago. It looks a bit deformed, but it is cool! I am also knitting the Clapotis right now, but despite what some people are saying, it is a HUGE knit. I hope to get it finished the next few days.

Now that I am done with work again until summer, I hope to finally get working on this domain again, there is so much that needs to be done.

You should have your father see his physician ASAP, and do something about the depression medically or psychologically. I know drugs aren’t always the solution, but I think it will help a little at least. Also, there may be support groups with people in similar situations… sometimes it helps to talk it out.
