What a shame that the girls from Tatu didn´t kiss each other, because they would have been disqualified.

Ok, madness. Total madness. Out of 26 countries, Turkey won. BUT: Belgium got second! They sang in fantasy language (!!!), and missed 1st place by 2 points I think.
Even madder, Austria was on place 5th for the LONGEST time! We placed 6th out of 26 in the end, which is mad all in itself, and the best result we had in 14 years.
We were placed:
2nd, by: Island and Portugal
3rd, by: Spain, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway
4th, by: Slovenia
5th, by: Turkey, Estonia, Sweden
6th, by: Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia
7th, by: Cyprus, Latvia
and 9th, by: Germany, Greece, Belgium
This contest has so little to do with real singing anymore. What a shame.

Hi Connie!It totally agree with you.I loved songs from Norway and Estonia best! But I think it’s got nothing to do with music anymore,I feel it’s like one neighbour giving max points to the other.Besides the voting itself is pretty nonsensical-only 5 min ….Anyway :O) The song from Turkey was ok,I’m glad that the arrogant girls from Tatu didn’t win..phew…I also liked the guys from Ireland and Ukraine.The Austrian song was very funny, but unfortunately I didn’t get to listen to the whole of it cos of the phone *grrr* heh Luff you..I’m going to swot some more Swedish vocab now..See yah

LÖL Connie! I did not see the whole show and went to bed early ever being sure that Austria wouldn’t be allowed to perform on a Songcontest for the next trillion years…. well, I just got up and still can’t believe the reports! 6th place.. gee this is 6th place – I don’t get it anymore!!! I don’t know wether to laugh or cry

Awful.. I thought Turkey was good, but her voice was so shrill! And Belgium.. why did they win??? O_o I missed Tatu, but yeah, it would’ve been cool if they’d shocked the audience *grin*
