I have practically begged Steven (from Insiderhosting) to give me SSH access for one hour, so I can upload my Database Dump. No luck. Actually, he didnt even reply. He closed my first ticket, and when I reopened it, he didnt get back to me.
I am seriously considering to change Hosts. Do I look like as if Id hack into Servers? Not really. 🙄
What a shame. I did refer a bunch of people to Hostradius. I am not going to refer one more to Steven.

Hm, that’s not very nice. I remember Shi and Zed always being really really nice.. they’d always reply (and never closed tickets w/o replying first) even when whatever thing you asked was not possible. My domain-request (payment went through) was not even replied to! I know Steven got the money. What’s the customerfriendliness in that? 🙁

Shi and Zed are excellent! So very friendly, and they really rock socks! They are amazing!
However, I don´t have a high opinion of Steven what his job concerns. You know, he could have at least offered to enter the command in SSH himself. That takes maybe a minute of his time.
I am pretty mad. I am sorry ZhiWen that you are a victim already too. What a shame!!!

Vielen Dank Zelda! Also es geht darum eine 25 MB große Datenbank raufzuladen, das geht nur über SSH oder so, und den Zugang kriege ich nicht, deswegen kann ich auch nicht raufladen. Grrr!

Connie, andere idee: lad dei db per FTP auf deinen account, dann geh ins phmyadmin und versuch mit dem lokalen pfad auf die db (/home/turtelin/**/datenbank.db oder wie der pfad is) sie wieder herzustellen.

I am considering on moving from insiderhosting too. I too requested SSH access, but was denied it. What happened to honoring HR’s conditions? I had ssh before.. derh. Also, my phpmyadmin doesn’t work. I keep getting incorrect user/pwd and it’s been a day & a half with no response about it… mmm but he was so quick to respond about ssh denial.
thank goodness for dodo who gave me a script to upload so i could repair my databases through http.
