FINALLY on my week off. And I am doing billion times better. My skin seems to be on a much needed break, too. You can count on one hand when it was this good in the last 15 years. 😀 So much for being untreatable and given up on. Without in or out steroids. Am enjoying laying around, reading, sleeping, knitting, having good breakfasts, baking, meeting up with friends, going for long walks with not-so-little anymore Emma. Tomorrow I need to start writing Uni papers, but the past three days, have been very lovely indeed.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, I met up with a friend and her little dog who came to visit. We went to an absolutely tiny but amazing indish Restaurant. We had some chitchat and just enjoyed the evening. The dogs got along really well, who would have thought that of wild Emma. People stopped to watch them play. 😀 Nice.

We also went to get some Easter decoration for the living room.

Thursday, I took Emma up one of the city mountains, the Moenchsberg and then up the Richterhoehe. It was her first time and I wasnt sure how she would take the going up. Everything went well, and she had an amazing time jumping through the kneehigh snow. You can look at all the photos in full size on my FlickR stream, as always. 🙂

In the afternoon, I met up with the creator of Hautinfo. A lovely woman who talks very much. I am thinking though, that I am being used for information purposes and I dont like it. I have “earned” the information that I have about topic eczema (treatments), the hardest way there is. By going through it for years myself, trying insane meds with life threatening side effects, being on a treatment now, on which barely anyone worldwide is on . I think I will stop the information flow and see if she will still want to go for a coffee then. Most likely not.
Friday I met up with Eva. We talked for hours and in the evening we went to the monthly meeting of the astronomers, as Walter had a presentation about the first stars and the beginning of the Universe. It was really interesting, but way too complicated at times for a complete laywoman like me to understand. After all had went home, he took the time and sat down with me to answer all of my questions. Incredible how it all started and yes, we ARE all made of star-dust. Lovely thought. 😳
I caught up on Vampire Diaries, watched the first season of Breaking Bad, finished my huge turtle pillow and am almost done with a pair of warm socks for the cold days.

Today, I want to start watching Downtown Abbey and start on sewing Bunnies.
I am also reading a book I came upon by total luck. But it is so good. It is called Fear by Dirk Kurbjuweit. It is totally intriguing. Definitely one of the best books I have ever read, writing style, how the story is told and the topic itself. That is how you find good books, by pure luck.
Have a good week everyone and stay warm! âž¡
