Knitaholic, Once Again

Not a good week. Even at work they felt sorry for me (visibly complete wreck, rotten skin), so I got help almost all week. Nice. Sekundärer Krankheitsgewinn, but something good has to be there that comes from this stupid skin crap. For my presentation I took steroids. Cannot bare to run around like a complete wreck anymore. Had a good few days and now the rebound. Oh well. But: presentation -> check. Now to write a lengthy paper about Hermann Bahr and then goodbye Naturalismus, hooray. I hate you. I will skip the next presentation on Wednesday, as the girls I would have to do it with, are complete childish brats. Thank you, but no. I did really good on the test, so I can take a grade worse. 😉

They are planning more cuts at work, and they want us to deliver parcels now up to 70lbs. I know one thing for sure: I will not even touch a 70lbs parcel. Would be a lovely newspaper shot: 60% handicapped short person is forced to deliver 70lbs parcels… This coming week the Austrian Postal System will probably go on strike, for at least one day, the union is even thinking about a three day strike… lets see what this week will bring. This will be an interesting work week. And much more important: last Uni week of this semester: hip hip hooray! I really need to remember this ❗ ❗ ❗

I did get to visit little 5-day-old Eugen who is ridiculously cute! Such tiny fingers and the finger nails! Absolutely adorable and friend is as happy as can be, of course. Waiting for my time to be as happy as can be. 😀 Another friend would have had a reading at our Literaturhaus, couldnt go though due to exhaustion, bummer.

I did get wool again this week. 🙂 I am participating in a project by Knitaholics, we are knitting a weather scarf. You basically knit 2 rows every day, in the colours of the weather: like snow would be white and so on. I started way late, but I love it, great idea!

With my Kindle ➡ I am also mastering knitting while reading, absolutely excellent. I started to knit driftwood, a lovely striped sweater. I had about 1/3 when I checked to see if the size I am knitting fits. Nope, way too big. Had to frog it all. Dang. My gauge is way off. I am trying XS now. Looks better from what I can tell:

I had totally forgotten how much I love knitting. ➡ Exam on Wednesday, better do some reading now.

Hanging in there, what else is there to do. Have a good one!
