Is turtelina.net old today. ➡ Hard to believe! And that doesnt even include the years I spent on Geocities… *shudders* I still enjoy my domain a lot and once I have more time I will bring the Portal back. I have some ideas for it. *bounces* It needs to get rid of all the Trojans that were planted there though.

This week the big turtle I bought a while ago, found a new little friend. I think together they are the most hilarious things! 😎 Such posers they are!

We also decided, that we want to redo the house completely. It will take time, especially as everything is so expensive these days, but its something to look forward to. We will repaint, new floors, move and replace the furniture, its going to be extremely satisfying, healthy and exciting. Most important: healthy. Moving on, letting go. Who kew this would be so very hard. *sigh*

On Tuesday, I finally received a letter from the Social Services Departement. The final result is in:

I got a disability of 60%! I really enjoyed seeing everyones jaw drop when I told them. In the beginning some people couldnt understand why I should receive a disability card. And now, did I not only receive it, I also got a pretty high disability grade. Everything beyond 50% means I am severely disabled. I got 50% for the therapy-resistant atopical ekzema and 30% for my Asthma. The disability card will come in useful in a variety of ways, but most important is that I cannot be fired that easily anymore. I also cannot be expected to do any extra work, 570 Euros tax refund / year (which would be an Ipad) and so on. But we will see how the reality of that all will be. Oh, and one more week of vacation / year. 😆

On Wednesday, I had a control appointment at the hospital. The doctor said that I should go into Rehab as soon as possible. So this coming Wednesday I have an appointement to talk with the Chef of our health insurance, because he is the man to make pressure so that I can go as fast as possible. But I am not sure that I want to. Uni is starting again soon, too… I signed up for a Jiddish course. Its annoying as hell, maybe I can go over Christmas…

The rest of the week is a big blur. The weather was awful ❗ , I worked and slept, worked and slept… Nothing new in the other departments. Lets see what this week will bring. Have a good one everyone!
