What a disillusional experience yesterday.
One of my alltime favourite TV Shows is “Little House On The Prarie”. I love that show, I really really really do. Because I had some time yesterday, I decided to browse the Web a bit, for some behind the scenes info. Not a good idea.
First shock, that show is so old. I knew it wasn´t brand new, because I remember seeing it when I was really little. Do you know when they started taping that show? In 1972. That was the first shock.
Second shock. Little naive me thought that the show was filmed in Minnesota, because that´s where the real story took place. Haha. They taped it in California, and most of it in sound stages in Burbank. Shock shock shock.
Now if that wasn´t enough, most of the settings that weren´t destroyed yet, burned in the fires this year, including the little wooden house where they lived, and the church I believe.
Nothing left of the show. How sad. The real Laura Ingalls Wilder died at 90 years of age, and the real Almanzo Wilder at 96.

I remember LHOTP but never watched it as it seemed so old & kitsch.
I wonder what has happened to the children actors?
