I finally got a new hack to work, I think. I just have to test around with Dodo´s Theme Script, which I love, that the Theme cookie is not interfering with the hack cookie, which it does right now, which means either the new hack doesn´t work, or the themes don´t work.

Michael from the b2 support board, cannot plug either as the board is down right now, will do that though as soon as it works again, has rewritten the private entry hack. The big advantage is, that as soon as you enter the password, it will be stored in a cookie, and you never have to enter it again. Which is brilliant, as I tend to loose all the passwords for everyones site. I think it´s a HUGE advantage, and Michael can´t be credited enough. Especially as he helped me so much in tracking down possible errors.

The hack is just brilliant! It really is. Not only is the password stored in a cookie, but with the hack you can even make the comments private! (still have to do that) To top that, you just have to check a checkbox to make an entry private, instead of having to add some code. There´s another thing, when you are in b2edit.php, and look at your entries, private entries are marked with [private entry]. It can´t get any better than this.

Just have to figure out the cookie error. My head is already exploding. 😡 Could very well be that right now, the cookie for the hack doesn´t work.
