The Day After
POSTED in: Daily Life

I was so tired yesterday ❗ that I went to bed at 8.00 pm, I couldnt even be bothered to blog anymore, sorry. A tip though, never watch the X-Files before going to sleep, not a good idea.

Rediculous story from work. You know that we pack bags with mail in the morning, and post cars deliver them to certain places for us, where we pick them up. Well one of these bags “went missing” on Thursday. Unfortunatly in it the newspaper for a lady that is very well known at the post office. And not because they all love her… Well she called the newsapers, and yesterday it was in every newspaper, that a bag full with mail went missing, and it affected so many households, blabla. Well, it turned out, that the driver that delivered the mail bag, a student replacing the regular while on vacation, brought the bag to the wrong place, not a biggie, the bag was still there when they picked it up the next day. So the people from the distribution center (my group leader) called the spokesman of the austrian postal service to contact the newspapers that they write a counterstatement. And so they came yesterday, and made pics of my group leader and the chef from the parcel drivers with a mailbag in their hands, and that is in the newspapers today. Geeeesh. All that because a lady didnt get her newspaper.

I worked on the notification hack for comments this morning, I hope it is working now, but probably not.

Thank you so very much for all the birthday greetings (plug later), and another pressie from Nicki:

Thank you so much to Tina who borrowed me her Niten Huroro card so that I could get the new Kiko avatar, thanks Tina! 😮

It is so nice out, that is why I will try to deattach myself from the internet now.

Sometimes I am like yes, and it is a good idea not to watch programmes like that befored bed. I have a habit of watching crime programmes in the dark. Oh you are welcome for the pressie. Feel much better now, still dizzy but not as bad as this morning. I have to take a pic of these turtle things I bought, when the camera is charged.

ha, I can see why that lady is not widely loved at the post office. 😛 i’m glad it worked out in the end!
