I called my parents in Greece today. I think I want to skip my next phone bill. ❗ Exhausting to talk with them, I practically screamed into my mobile, but they still replied to questions which I didnt ask. We ended our talk when my Dad said that we should bring the dog to the vet, he will pay for it. 🙄
I am in a cool phase. Whatever it is, it is COOL! No wonder I have some sort of insane status at work. “Do you want to deliver those ads or pick different ones?” “No, those are cool!” 😯 At least I am out of the “okay” phase, that one was annoying.
The best thing about reading an excellent book is, when you search Amazon for the author, and find out that that particular author has written a ton of other books, and that those other books are rated even higher than the one you have just finished!
My Sisters Keeper and I were inseparable, until about 7.00 pm today, when I finally finished it. I have read hundreds of books so far, a handful of them will never leave my head. This one will be one of them.
I love Jodi Picoults style. I love how she “draws” her characters. I loved how in this book every person got to speak. I really liked how she interrupted the main plotline with reviews and astronomical comparisons. I like books where you can take new bits of information with you after you are done. I loved the plotline, with its errors and holes. I cannot forgive her the ending. 400 pages, and then this. If she wanted to leave the ending open for us, to let us decide what is ethically right or wrong, than that would have been one thing. But not this. Another faulty plotline with an outcome that was totally hmmm I dont even know how to say it. Idiotic really. I still recommend it, just make sure you skip the last two chapters. 😛

I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. There isn’t a whole lot better than finding a really good book. 🙂 I read ‘The Pact’ by Picoult a couple of years ago and liked it, and I plan to read ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ as soon as I can get it from the library since it’s my bookclub’s June book. Hopefully I’ll love it as much as you did.

What is wrong with Nikki :(? I don’t want my dad to get the next phone bill for my mobile, I have texted so many people! I get told off for saying ‘like’ too much in every sentence!

Wow, that is one serious book. I am looking for something new to read, let’s see if they have it in our local library..
