405 Errors In My Html
POSTED in: Domain

In some moment of madness, I have decided to apply for Bubs Perfection. And now I have to validate my code sooner than planned, and it is so “annyoing”. The w3 validator tells me, I have a whooping 405 (!!!) errors on my page. And I havent started on the css yet. I am down to 98 now, but still, how can that happen! Ohoh, this is helpful!

I am spending so much money, like its my last day on earth. And because it is so much fun, I decided to get Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needles, and they are so pricy. Good thing I have been doing plenty of extra hours lately. Nothing like biking out at noon, to deliver mail all over again. 😥 I think I will love the knitting needles, everyone else does!

As I am surrounded by so many “old people” at work, I feel 20 years older! And I dont like it, at all.

The problem with the HTML validator is that it reports so many errors when there are in fact much less — one coding issue can spew out tens of warnings. You will probably find it’s must easier to clean things up than it seems (and if you get stuck, feel free to email me: jem@jemjabella.co.uk — I think validating is fun!) 😀

You are so sweet Jem, thank you so much! And you are right. Just by adding alt and / to the image tags, I have eliminated 50%! This could get addicting. Anyone else has a page to validate for me? *drool!* hehe âž¡

Why validate when the site looks just fine??? Besides, the validator can’t seem distinguish JavaScript from HTML

I hope, that once my CSS is validated too, to get the site browser compliant. Its still a mess in IE! And so many people are still using it, too!

Hey Connie! I love your new theme. Purple is definitely one of my favourite colours! I can heartily recommend the Denise Interchangeable Needles! Yes, they are expensive, but just think how much money you’ll be saving on separate circular knitting needles.. Anyway, I use them all the time! I even ordered an extra set of cables 🙂 And so lightweight.
I am a little annoyed with KnitPicks not shipping or retailing abroad. They released an interchangeable needle set earlier this year and I’ve read some good things about them. However, us Europeans cannot get them.. 👿

Back from another trip. It must be so hard to consistantly not have errors, so you’re doing a great job. Mine would be 100% error anyway!
