27°C, Partly Cloudy
POSTED in: Daily Life

The Eurovision Songcontest came and went, without my obligatory post on it. The second to last place in the qualification (4 points, HAHA, 3 from Switzerland, 1 from Andorra) did it for me. I still cant understand it, I like the song, but obviously I am the only one. The whole thing has become so ridiculous. Have you read the latest, they want to make 2 qualifications next year, one for the western countries, and one for the eastern ones. Even more ridiculous. Austria gave 12 points to Serbia, who ended up winning the whole thing. Not my choice, but who knows who voted and why.

Mothersday came and went, and I am realizing over and over again, that time passes, no matter what. I am passing the cemetery twice a day now on my way to my mail route, its not the most pleasant thing on earth, but another thing that needs to be dealt with.

Speaking of dealing with… Someone meant that she had to inform me how much sugar is in the drinks that I prefer, and that she doesnt allow her son any of them. The question is, why does she think its her business? This is something I cannot have. Blame my history. Someone telling me what to eat / drink and what not to eat / drink, I cant have it in general really. All those things you need to deal with in one lifetime, sigh.

We decided on Friday, that I need a new guitar. Which is a rather big investment, because if at all, I want my guitar to go up in quality, not down. I am not sure though if I should make a big investment like this these days. Hmm, but I do know that I cant listen to the sound of mine one more day, so annoying. 🙄

All in all, life is continuing, whether I want to be in it, or not. Wednesday is a “gettogether” with the people from the post office and Thursday is a holiday *yay*! Bunnies are doing well, but they dont get along as well as hoped, but maybe they just need some time. 🙂

    ::sigh:: Yes, life continues.

    My nephew’s bunny got *snipped* the other day & he was a groggy little guy when I saw him last. He was very mad at my sister-in-law for bringing him to the vet…& he kept showing her his back! Smart bunny! I hope your guys grow to like (tolerate) each other!

    Best of luck deciding on your new guitar. Have a good holiday from work!

    Well, we’re only in the final because of our input of cash. Our song was just cheesy, and we came second to last – 19 points I think. I’m fed up with the politicalness of it all.

    Grr, why does someone need to tell you what you can and can’t have :(. Ignore her!

    I think you should get a new guitar if you can afford it. Have you got any more of your beautiful recordings? I have a flute competition on Sunday.

    Ich lasse einfach eine stille Umarmung hier – lass dir nicht von “den Leuten” rein reden!
