Freakshow of The Dead

My Slow Poke got its head plus eyes today. I am quite content so far. The pattern is really good, not much to do wrong! 😳 I cant wait to get this baby finished, maybe tomorrow.

I ordered wool yesterday for Lucy In The Sky. I wanted to knit something else next, but couldnt find fitting wool, bummer. I found Jaeger on sale at Cucumber Patch, and it seems fitting for this, so I ordered! 😛 I also got wool for another Clapotis. *bounces* I dont have too much time left for knitting though, I cant believe it how fast this summer is running away.

I was at the Stone Theater yesterday (forgot to bring camera, dang), and I swear this place was packed with spirits. Call me stupid, hopeless, paranoid, whatever, but this place felt really packed, I cant describe it. It reminded me of the scene in Titanic, where they show the wreckage, and then they move the camera into it, you see Leonardo DiCaprio opening the door and you see all these people standing along the stairway while the camera moves up. Exactly like that, only that you werent able to see anyone *thank God!*, it was freaky. But then, this place is old (already used in 1619!). Freaky.

Ikea catalogues arrived at the distribution center this weekend, and are waiting to be delivered! Maybe I can get a photo of the thousands and thousands laying all over. Nothing exciting in it really, old things mostly.

That place looks very impressive, and I can sort of envisage it being spooky..

Oh, did you order the Jaeger Extra Fine Merino? It’s lovely to knit! And I love Cucumberpatch 🙂 I’m knitting a few projects out of the stuff now actually. What colour will Lucy in the Sky be? And what will you use for your Clapotis? The crocheted slowpoke is very, very cute 🙂

Wow…indoor theatres here in NYC are notorious for their ghosts…I guess they like the outdoor theatres too! 🙂

Your knitting looks so good! Sorry I haven’t been online much, I’ve been on tour with my orchestra in Belgium. I get my results on Thursday, argh!
