This is Marlene, instead of all the things I should have done today, I made her. Her page at Ravelry.
I think I am going to finish The Book Thief today. Has anyone read the new Jodie Picoult book Nineteen Minutes? It has good reviews, but then, I have so many of her books still waiting to be read.
Rumours are, that we should finish Daily Dare over at Neopets by today (or was it yesterday). I beat AA 25 times so far, but I have serious problems with beating AA at Merca Chase, Ultimate Bullseye, Turmac Roll, Attack of the Gummy Dice and Dubloon Disaster. Damn. I thought the hardest was done in finally scoring over 700 at Kiko Match. Argh. I wanted the AA trophy!

I had an “odd” experience. Odd, amazing, weird, unusual… Lately, I have been missing my parents A LOT again. I have no idea what triggered it, but the longing is strong, and painful. Days are long, and everything is just a bit harder again. On my mailrounds I meet a lot of dogs. When I am off my postal bike, some come and smell, but most of them, stay away. On Thursday though, a dog came to me while I was on my bike, and she didnt leave. At one point she sat infront of my bike and didnt want to let me go on. Most of all, she was close to me, and didnt want to leave. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. And now guess her name. Sissi. Which was my Moms name. The dog even had Sissi written on a heart, which was attached to the collar. My Mom loved dogs a lot. I take this as my personal sign from above, in a desperate state of need.
Back to Uni tomorrow. Ewww. 👿

Marlene is so nice!
I am trying to get into knitting but I am so rubbish. I don’t really know how to go about it.
Have you read My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult?
Aw, it sounds like it could have been a sign from above, will you see her often on your round?
How is uni going? How is guitar going?

Knitting is all practice. Just make a scard, and go from there. I would be surprised if you cant do it, I am sure you can. 🙂
I always have to go different rounds unfortunately, I never saw that dog before.
Uni is going so lala, and I have so little time to practice guitar.
How is Uni and flute going for you?
9:07 am on March 31st, 2008
I got shown how to do it but went wrong and had to start again.
Aw 🙁
Uni sounds really busy for you, I couldn’t imagine the huge amount of work if I attempted to do 2 degrees here.
I’m on my holiday at the moment, got exams next term at university. Fluting is going alright, I’ve got a recital soon, but don’t think I sound too good really.
By the way, under bookworm it should be ‘never’

Oops, thanks Nicki, I will fix it. 😉
Holidays are always good, are you at home? After what I can “see” at Facebook, you are doing really well at Uni. I had immense problems to adjust from school to Uni, you are doing so much better! I am glad you are having fun. 😀 Its such a pretty place!
2 courses is A LOT of work. And most of the time, I work 40 hours a week. No wonder I keep failing. O_o
I am sure you sound very good!

Ich liebe die Hunde-Begegnung – da ich solche Geschichten sowieso liebe!
Take care – ich denke an dich!

I’m inclined to believe Sissi was sent your way! It gave me a chill to hear it. 🙂

Yep, I am home until 20th April. 🙂 I think uni is much better for me than school was, I get to do things when I want to. It has meant that I’ve been more chilled and relaxed.
Crumbs…40 hours a week and 2 degrees! That is mad!!!
