Inner And Outside Madness
POSTED in: Ramblings

I heard on the radio yesterday that they were casting for extras for Bridget Jones 2 somewhere in Austria. They wanted to find a good skiier for the movie. 🙂 I am sure they found someone too, cant find anything on the internet right now about who they took in the end. Very cool though.

The madness that is my life, some excerpts.

My guitar teacher practically keeps telling me how old I am. Not my fault that he has a lot of elementary kids now, as all the other people stopped last year. He has really older guitar students too, nevertheless he picked me to tell me each lesson. Thank you. As if I am 100 years old.

Someone called yesterday and wanted to talk to my Mommy. That was weird. As if I am 5 years old.

In a spurt of sarcasm, my Dad asked me if he should kill himself. I said yes. Dont think too much about it, its an almost daily happening.

Why people want to “carry out” (word?) their inner conflicts on my back, I have yet to understand. People want to make THEIR insecurities/fears/whatever mine, I am not accepting them, thanks.

Can anyone blame me that I absolutely cannot concentrate on studing? 😐

Have you installed a plug that remembers your information?? Cos it really helps! Or has it been there for ages?? Haha. You are an awesome guiatr player. I have 2 music exams in March – argh. One is theory, grade 5 (I don’t know whether you do ‘grades’) I love you lots, would you have time over the weekend to talk on AIM? I have to investigate to see whether I can still chat on AIM…..*checks on AOL.co.uk* I have to download it, will do now 😀

No, it was always there Nicki. Probably some AOL thing. 😀 We don´t do grades in the form that you do. We just have low level (1-4), mid level (5-8), and high level (9-12). Which Font do you mean? I am not sure Nicki if I can chat, I should really study for Monday. But I have holidays soon, and all the time in the world.

Yes, AOL was a bit dodgy. Hmm, I don’t know what Grade 5 is equivalent to. Don’t worry if you cannot chat, I am sure we will find some free time. I don’t know though whether you can have AIM without the AOL account, I think we will only have an AOL account for a month more at the latest! I will be thinking of you before your exam.

Ack, we learned the english school system, but I absolutely cannot remember it. Sorry Nicki. In the music school year 5 is your 5th year of learning the instrument. Does that help? Usually in year 4 you make an exam to get into the next higher level, and then in year 8 again, and in year 12 you give the final concert. Complicated. It´s a seperate school, it has nothing to do with the regular schools. You can chat on AIM Nicki, you just have to download it somewhere. 😀

So, if the 5th year is the 5th year of learning you instrument then I would probably be in year 6 or 7! I have downloaded AIM, so we can still chat. Don’t worry about now remembering the English system, that is pretty complicated to. Basically there are 8 grades, grade 1 is the lowest and grade 8 is the highest and you do grade exams. Grade 4/5 is GCSE level (GCSE – major exams) and Grade 5/6 is A Level standard (more major exams). Have a great day
