Songcontest 2005
POSTED in: Daily Life

Bee EEveryone that is watching tonight, have fun! I should rewatch the contest from 2 years ago, when we placed 5th, ahh, those memories. Last year was ok, but we did awful. This year we didnt even manage to qualify, everyone is shocked. I am not, the song was “ridiculous”, nice for Austria, but not for Europe. Maybe next year.

Missed the qualification this year? Read about it here. My prediction: Norway is going to win!

In honor of the countries that I liked, who didnt manage to qualify: Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and Austria:

I dont like Hungary, but their dancers are cool.

England with a sore throat according to my favourite source. She is a bomb, I can just imagine everyone turning their heads when she walks down the street. The drummers in the beginning were awesome! The song was interesting, completly different to the usual ballades England does. She has a great voice, and she is so pretty, just to say it again.

I love the lady from Malta! She is magical! I am crying as I write (and I lack emotions badly, call it a miracle), the song was awesome, and I actually remember her from her last start seven years ago. I already loved her back then!

Romania is good. But I am waiting for a breast to fall out, there is still time left for it!

Norway, go and wrestle with Malta for first place!

Turkey, a REALLY different culture, to find a different description for the basic “me doesnt like”. 😈 The dress is awful.

Moldova, I loved them already Thursday! They rock the house, and Europe, plus the World! Remember what they sang in the end? Lets make love!

Albania, not sure about the song, I was staring at her thin arms.

Cyprus, search my body, reach the fire He is scary!!!

Spain, I will actually use that song for a toilet break. 🙄 It sounds pretty bad.

Israel, I liked her Thursday, I like her today! So dramatic, she has an amazing voice.

Serbia Montenegro, the one on the left looks like Stiffler from American Pie! Did someone tell them to smile? 🙂 Oh, he even moves like Stiffler.

Denmark, perfect for weddings. I can just see them dancing while he sings, in the background…

Sweden, awesome voice, good song, but why does he sing about Las Vegas? ❓ You know what our commentator said? He is sure more people want him in their bed than in their cd player…

Macedonia, I never did like the song.

Ukraine, ok, if the Ukraine should win tonight, there is seriously something wrong with Europe.

Germany, remember when Gracia was voted out of Pop Idol and Daniel had a nervous breakdown live on air? I dont think that she can follow in Maxs footsteps, he led the Austrian charts for weeks with his song contest song last year! I dont like the song, sorry.

Croatia, they will be in qualification next year, with us…

Greece, thats one of the typical winning songs, and no, that doesnt mean that I like it. I wrote that during their performance, how is that for a prediction?

Russia, how were the two girl called that sang for Russia two years ago? I want them back.

Bosnia Herzegovina, when does Switzerland come again? I need something good again please. This is painful.

Sidenote: I want the vegetarian bread soup now.

Switzerland, the guitar makes her look really sexy! I do like the song a lot. They will land in the first 5 spots, I am pretty sure. Maybe they will sing for us next year. 😉

Latvia, ahhhh, boys with guitars… yum yum. I will stay silent and enjoy. 😀

France, I dont like the song.

And here is my prediction, no I wont call, but still:

1.) Norway
2.) Malta I got that right!
3.) Switzerland
4.) Moldova
5.) Israel

I am so very pleased for Malta! ➡, you can read the lyrics of her song Angel here.

Austria gave these votes:

Israel 1
Moldova 2
Albania 3
Greece 4
Malta 5
Romania 6
Turkey 7
Croatia 8
Boasnia Herzegovina 10
Serbia Montenegro 12

—> You can tell that all the people from Eastern Europe that live here called like crazy, good God. I dont agree at all.

Did all these people hear the same thing that I heard? Why are they voting for the worst songs again? I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. The same thing over and over again, disgusting.

The results are:

1.) Greece
2.) Malta
3.) Romania
4.) Israel
5.) Latvia

I cant believe Norway didnt win, I was so sure! I am so sorry Fiona.

The typical songcontest winning song won again. What a surprise! I can live with it, but I wanted someone else, guess who!

The bee was made after a tutorial from here.

Even though our song was OK, we didn’t do very well, but at least we got some points. Yep, here yesterday, it was “big news” that she had a sore throat. I loved the Maltese lady, the song was beautiful, she was the best singer on the night, but the contest has kind of changed so now the best singer doesn’t win and political voting plays a part. Hahah! Yep, we were trying to decide whether the breasts or real or not. Ohhh the Russian people, I know who you mean, I think. 2 twins? *recalls song in her head*. I can’t remember their name. I loved the Moldova song, it had the best lyrics ever! I can’t remember half the songs, but Greece wasn’t anything special!

    Danke!
