I just got done watching an Harry Potter documentation on Discovery Channel. Pretty cool. They showed Joanna K. Rowlings boyfriend from way ago, like when they were around 3. He was called Potter. hehe They always played wizards and witches games. Most of the characters on Harry Potter are from Myths. A Nicolas Flamell really existed back in the 13th century. He tried to discover the secret behind a stone as well. He originally built houses in Paris for the poor. Harry, Ron and Hermione go back to Merlin and King Arthur. They showed lots of buildings in England that could have been motivation for Joanne R. to create Hogwarts and everything. So cool.

Forgot to say that the first book, is actually meant for Harry to find himself. Sorry to say, but I totally missed that part. I thought he was on his search for the stone.

But as the experts said in the documentation, the book works on many levels. Those experts were the peeps that have written “The magic behind Harry Potter” and alike. One wrote the screenplay for a Lady Camelott movie.
