Ooh! I never knew something like this was possible. But thanks to you Connie, I am no longer ignorant ^_^
I don’t really know what to say except that IT IS Friday= home to London= 24/7 net access= *dies & goes to paradise.jk*
A few others have mentioned turtles & seeing as Connie loves them so much, I’ll talk about mine too:
When I was younger we had a terrapin which started of the size of a 50p coin (size of a coke bottle lid) & I remember we kept it in a tank, feeding it fresh shrimp everyday. Like a lot of new terrapin owners, we didn’t expect it to grow that much larger or so quickly. Within a few months, it had grown to the size of a tumbler, my parents were horrified & the cost of feeding it fresh tiger shrimps was too high. Still, it was loved…& fed extremely well.
The more it ate the faster it grew & within 2 months it was the size of a small bowl, too big for the tank & too hard to handle. It was my little brother’s first pet & he loved it more than anything but economics took over & the first offer of a buyer was accepted straight away.
The terrapin was gone, probably to a better home though I doubt better fed ^_^
So that was the life of our first turtle. It doesn’t sound very exciting but pets aren’t for excitement. It’s the experience & love 🙂
