I cannot wait to read Artemis Fowl: The Last Guardian! Eoin Colfer is touring The States right now, you should all definitely go and see him read! 😀 It will be so sad to see Artemis go, especially as the last book was really brilliant!
It has been a while since my last post. I did a little bit of sewing:

Lots and lots of hiking, most lovely! Not so lovely, to get caught by a thunderstorm very high up on a mountain, very dangerous situation! But it was beautiful, nonetheless:

Hard to pick the best shots! You can look at all the pics, at my Untersberg Collection.
What gave me a lot of goosebumps is the war monument, on one of the highest points of the mountain. Written on it it sais: we live because you died. They couldnt have picked a better spot I think! A beautfiul way to honour them all, so “close” to the sky!

And then of course, the hospital situation continues. Last week, I had an appointment with the patients’ ombudspersons. They are going to write a letter to the quality management of the hospital and ask for a statement and explanation from the doctors that were involved in all of this. Plus, I got the chance to write a statement which was included. It was a group effort to write this in a very pointedly, precise, sharp and short way, so that absolutely nothing can be used against me. Very tricky to do, but I think the letter turned out absolutely excellent. I am not someone that can be silenced or made small. Never. I die fighting, and they did so much so very wrong, whomever i tell about it, they are completely shocked and cant believe it. If they have any sense of decency, there are a couple of huge apologies in order. Which will not happen of course. 😉 Now it will take a while to hear back from them. And in the meantime, I am completely without any medical support. Considering that I have Rituximab in me.. 😈
I also bought a new bike with my Christmas money now that summer sales are everywhere. Very happy! My old bike is a pile of steel trash and has been for the longest time. Time to throw it over the mountain. I biked thousands of kilometers with it, it did its duty.
We also almost got a new dog! But my brother and me both decided: too early. My disabled persons card was prolonged for life as they told me. Good? Not too sure. Lots of gardening! 🙂 Our porch looks like a jungle. 🙂 Work is ok. Uni and guitar lessons have ended for the summer. I also really like this season of The Glee Project. They should just go on producing this instead of Glee itself.
Life never gets boring around here! Though I could really do with less excitement. Until soon! âž¡
