This last week is a complete blurr. I know I worked, I know we had to count all mail every singly day (!), I know I went to Uni and had a linguistic presentation… but I dont think I consciously participated in anything. That is what your brain does to protect you when its so overloaded, it is in danger to explode! And thats what it did. It was also a very sad week. A very empty week. A week of loss and coming to terms.
This weekend we finally climbed the Untersberg once again. It was very much needed! My brother and my soul needed to feel nature. To breathe it, to feel it and to see it. It is always fantastic! I cant get enough, would have wanted to go up there again today, but of course work and Uni… We started quite early, so there were hardly people in our way, very nice! Not that you havent seen it all before..

At the top, its always absolutely fantastic! Dont ever want to leave once I am up! 🙂

If you want full size pics, go here. 🙂
In the afternoon, we had barbecue at my cousins. That was quite lovely as well.
And now its time to tell you, very very very sad and heartbroken, that our very much loved doggie Nikki, crossed the rainbow bridge this past Sunday (8 days ago). She was doing more and more poorly. We thought it was the heart again. But when we took her in on Sunday to see the emergency vet, she told us that she probably has an immense tumor in her tummy, which is pressing on her intestines and that there really is nothing than put her to sleep to end her suffering. Six days after her 14th birthday. We are really heartbroken.

We had her cremated, because law forbids it to take the dead dog home with you and bury her in the garden. 👿 She will get the best spot under a tree, where she loved to sit. I know that she is loving it to be able to run around freely again, which she couldnt anymore for quite some time. We will miss her so much! ➡ ➡ ➡
But as always, and as cruel as it is, life ALWAYS goes on. As someone very lovely said to me: life goes on, just in a different way.
