Today, my friend and I went on a pilgrimage to Maria Plain. We meant to do that for ages. I was there so many times growing up, for all sorts of reasons and today we did it again. Not terribly spectacular, it was way too humid and there was mass in the church, so I couldnt even light a candle for the parents. Bummer! But a thing that needed to be done.
I loved the signpost. See how it is only 3340 km to Jerusalem? Which brings me to a comparison of the city views, just because I can. Below. I am going to start a sort of time capsule. The last time I was up there, at least 15 ears ago, my life was so very different, I think I was even up there with my Mom and other people that have since passed away, that feels really way wrong! Nature will outlive us all. I am really eager to find out how my life will be in 10 years, thats when we plan to go up there again. I am sure so much will be different then, HOPEFULLY.
This week was rather unexciting. I started to bake again, but nothing that is worth showing off. Stitches were removed, SO RELIEVED! Cant tell yet how the scars will turn out though. Skin biopsy result, dont be shocked: atopic dermatitis. SURPRISE Sleep mediciation adaption: not happening, because I take too much already. They say I am completely overwhelmed with work, brother and Uni, thats why I cant sleep. Psychosomatic consult: not even worth mentioning.
Salzburg from Maria Plain: (the mountain on the right, is the mountain that I climbed with a friend two weeks ago)

Jerusalem from the Mount Olivet: (3340 km below Austria, in a different continent: Asia)

I need to do a “100 things to do before I die” list, so I can cross this out. 😀 On other news, I picked up a book again, that I put away a few months ago because I found it so horrible: The Thirteenth Tale. Started new yesterday, and this time around I find it really good! Odd. 😛 I am finding lots of quotes again that I really like…
