I dont even think that the brain needs that much energy, what is it, 20%? What I do know is, that after it has run in over-mode for a while, you are really completely exhausted. I did nothing all day. I just went from the chair, to my bed, back to the chair, to the chair by the oven… Fighting to keep my eyes open. Insane. And that with the knowledge that uni work is piling up, let alone the work at home. Oh well. Sometimes you just cant help it.
And now as promised, on to the purchases I made over the last few weeks. The most expensive ones obviously are the things we need for the house renovation. I cant buy all that much at once anyway, slow is the keyword. But as paint and plaster doesnt make your soul bounce, I bought other things as well. Like:
I-Pig Speakers I love to listen to Podcasts and Audiobooks / plays. The Iphone speaker is good when you are sitting right next to it, but when you are moving around, it doesnt do. This not so little piggie is brilliant. The sound is excellent and its perfect for my purposes. It has a remote control, touch sensors and its mouth is glowing when turned on. It charges your Ipod / Iphone and all the other lovely things that these speakers do. Good buy, I dont regret it.
I also bought a bunch of books. Because books make me happy and books are good for my soul. You will see the books I bought one by one when I read them, listing them would be useless.
Etsy is another thing. I love Etsy. I cannot go there, without finding multiple things that I would like. Most of the things I could do without, yes. But as most of the things are really not expensive, I usually get a lot of them, these are the things I bought over the last 6+ months:
And so on… No Threadlesses quite recently. *good connie* I think you get the picture on what I spend money on. Our little house is a turtle shrine with books all over the place. 😕
