Osterwochenende 2008

Happy Easter to everyone!! I hope your day is as relaxing as mine is so far. I love Easter. I love the bunnies everywhere, the eggs, pretty much everything. 🙂 And I love laying in bed doing absolutely nothing. Other than reading, knitting and watching DVD. I am so spoiled, I cant help it.

Lots of Easter Eggs and Chocolate (and bunnies) for everyone this year! 😈

Interesting Facts:

  • Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full Moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). Based on this, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is pretty rare.
  • The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913.
  • The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22 will be in the Year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818.

    This week came and went… And with it a bunch of snow. These two photos were taken in the course of only 24 hours. It was insane. Despite those eggs hanging on a Christmas tree..

    Wintereinbruch

    I did some knitting and crocheting, and of course I baked a cake! Photos as always at my FlickR.

    I am still reading on The Book Thief, I just cannot get into it. And I am slowly but surely getting extremely fed up with the Holocaust “themes” and “scandals” everywhere.

    The little bunny is doing very well. We named her Babsi.
