The Basics

My real name is Cornelia, its origin is latin and means horn, I have come to like my name, especially after my Dad told me that he originally wanted to call me after his aunt Aurelia. *you may laugh here* Everyone calls me Connie. I was born in Salzburg (Austria) where I lived all of my life except one year which I spent abroad as an exchange student. I am currently a student and work for the Austrian Postal Service as a mail carrier during my holidays.

Activities

When I do something, I set my heart on it. I never quit.

I was an altar girl for 6 years, reaching the highest level there was: Oberministrant.

I used to swim competitive for years, despite having severe Asthma. I won the Athletic Spirit Award on my exchange year.

I am playing guitar since 3rd grade, and am according to my teacher at Mozarteum level. You can download some of the music that I play here.

I skipped a year in school (10th grade), managing what many didnt believe I could do, I always proved them wrong.

I worked voluntarily for Hungrig Online, managing a mailing list with hundreds of members.

I was a Pfadfinder (Brownie, Girlscout, whatever it is called in your country), a catholic youth group member, I used to go to tons of soccer games, and I am sure there is more that I cant remember right now.

I Like And Love

I am an avid reader. I love DVDs. I love crafts. I knitted jackets, jumpers, dolls, pencil cases, you name it I made it. I made well past 100 friendship bracelets for favourite singers, soccer players, friends, everyone really. I love gardening. I used to have dozens of pen pals from all over the world (even one from Africa who kept begging for a clock). I love Webdesign, I love my domains. I love music, and listening to audio books on my Ipod. Unfortunatly I also like spending money. I love animals more than humans, I also collect turtle things.

My Idols And Heros

I love Oprah. She and her guests have taught me so many things about life and spirit, getting me to the point where I am at now.

Hermann Maier, Austrian skier, and synonym for will power. He continues to teach me that you can conquer your head and achieve it all, if you want it badly enough.

My friend Dana. For everything she went through to managing her life like she does. She never gave up, no matter what cards life has dealt her. She is an inspiration, I adore her and I am forever glad that I can call her my friend.

And A Bit More

I am a loner. I think a lot. I am near sighted. I am a victim of my too well working immune system. I hate the smell of cigarettes and coffee, I hate alcohol and what it does to people. I prefer animals alive than dead on a plate. I saved my Dads life. I hate arrogant people, or people that judge. I am too good and cant say no (I am learning). I have learned life too well too soon.
