Presidenten Wahl 2004
POSTED in: Daily Life
Fischer

Austria votes for a new president today! Read the CNN article here. And these are the canditates: Picture copyright: News.at.

Ferrero

The woman awefully reminds me of someone that shall not be named. 😕

6 million Austrians will vote for one of the two today. I hope the woman wins, she would be the first female president.

Edit: The male won, damn it, I am angry, it was so close! He won with 52.41% : 47.59%. Grrr.

Oh yes, it is quite rare for women to be in power, I hope that we can have a new Prime Minister soon, but it is always all the same: make promises, break promises. Is it sunny in Austria today?

America has never had a female leader either. I hope the woman wins as well!! Thanks for giving me the Protangonist Web Hosting site. It is really handy. I’ve decided not to be hosted for free on freewebs because it was all together more expensive than the plan I’m going for now. Everyting is costing me $48!!! But you see, freewebs doesn’t support FTP or PHP or PERL. So I think 8 extra dollars is so worth it… Sorry for such a long comment! Who will you be voting for?

There has been a a woman P.M here, but that was in the 80s. By the way, I like your pencil pixel where it says ‘leave a comment’.

8 Dollars can make a world of a difference Jaqueen, especially when it is a decision between a questionable host I have never heard about or a host where I know you are in very good hands.

You know what surprised me? That voting day is a Sunday. The American in me is saying that’s weird. (We always vote on Tuesdays, why? I dunno.) I think I think it’s weird because it’s the weekend. How come voting day is a Sunday? Enlighten me aobut Austria, Connie!

Hmmm, I think, it is because we vote for everyone and everything directly. Elections are in elementary schools and public buildings, which are occupied during the week. Austria is a catholic country, everything (except public services) is closed on Sunday, so everyone is off and free to go for elections.

How do you all vote Nikkiana during the week?

I have a lot fo things I need to do that cost money, so I hopefully will have a good wesbite on my dream domain by this fall, hopefully sooner! You can read more about it on my blog, though! Have a good Monday!

i see you use greymatter. i have been having such problems with greymatter 🙁 do you think you could help me install it? the problem seems to be that i am on a windows server and although greymatter will work on a windows server, it’s hard to figure it out.

Even in Italy we always vote on Sundays, I think for the same reason in Austria:elections are in schools and more people can go freely there cause they have the day-off on Sunday.

I cannot remember which day we vote on as it hasn’t happened since the 90s. I think it could be a Tuesday although I am not entirely sure. Not many people vote though.
