The Last Friday Of 2006
POSTED in: Daily Life, Knitting

monkeysocks1.jpg I am so hooked on socks right now. I have tried to knit something else now that the Christmas socks are done, but all I was able to think about were socks! So I picked this pattern, and another Opal from my stash. I hope to eventually come up with my own sock patterns, but after frogging twice today, I had to realize, knitting after a pattern is just so much easier!

And yes, I forgot Free For All Friday, AGAIN! I blame the post office, for ruining my day at already 9.45 am!

Daddy is coming home tomorrow, and the Social Lady just wanted to tell us, that we should claim nursing money! Which we will get starting next month, 175 Euros a month for doing what we have been doing for the last 18 months.

Not much else for now.

Pretty! Which Opal yarn is it? I’ve got to knit up a pair of birthday socks quickly, probably in Opal CanCan and in the Conwy pattern (don’t you just love that one? 😀 My Conwy’s do feel slightly lookse around the leg after washing).

Its Opal Acapulco, lovely colours, I have seen other socks with it, and they all look good! 😛 The pattern is awesome too!

The Conwy pattern is brilliant, so fast to knit, but I did hate hate the first pattern row. How come your socks are getting loose, is it the wool?

Very pretty colours… You have a knack for picking out colours that go well together. 🙂
