I Can Barely Look At You Me

NationalturtleToday is a national holiday in Austria! I love holidays, because it means I not only dont have to work, but I also dont have Uni. YAY!!!! The best days. Really. ➡

Google added a security warning to my site hence it was offline for a while. I submitted it for review and if you see this, it means its “back online”. I know what was wrong and I scanned my computer crazy in order to fix this. I hate this. It eats so much useful time with which I could do so many other things. Sigh.

Untersberg im NebelI took a really lovely photo with my old mobile phone on my way out to a mail route. But for some reason it is MINI! Such a shame. I still love it. I hope you can see something. Its about 7.15 am in the morning, all foggy and beautiful.

I stayed up long yesterday to finish The Forgotten Garden. I so much loved it in the end. Its a story about a mystery, about fairy tales, about a secret garden and 4 generations of a family. It was truly magical. I have it in my heart now and thats where it will stay. Thats how magical I thought this story was. I recommend it whole heartily! I love stories that leave such an impression. It makes you think and ponder and I wanted it to go on and on and on. Oh well, on to the next now. Its so hard to pick a book after such an amazing read!

Life has been eventless this past week. Which is GOOD! We did go and watched Jud-Suess, which of course was not the real Jud-Suess as thats one of the movies that is forbidden here, but rather a movie about the movie. It was nothing I would watch again, but it proves the power of media. Scary. Uni was OK. We learned 4 more letters of the Jiddish alphabet. I plan to participate in the NaBloPoMo again this year, then I am going to show you the letters we have learned so far. They are crazy! Guitar lesson was good, I didnt practice as much as I should have, but my teacher was still satisfied.

I spent a bunch of money this last week! On wall paint, Christmas thingies and so on. I even bought green wallpaint because I want one green turtle on the wall. Right beside the door. I worked on a stencil today, not sure its working like I want it too. 😯

I have been thinking so much again. The son of a work colleague overdosed two weeks ago. It brings up so many memories, then All Saints Day is practically here which I detest. My skin is just as bad as it was and possibly worse again and I am so terribly frustrated by it. And did I mention yet that I definitely think too much? Its going almost nonstop. Argh.

Not much else. I hope my site is back online soon. *kicks it* As always, have a good week and dont drown in the snow! ❗ yes, we got our first snow already…

Ah, so nice not to get that *DANGER!* msg today when connecting to your site!

Lovely picture…kinda misty here today tho’ no SNOW…we’re in the 70s F. Too hot & yucky…but there was a BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW in the sky…so rare. People on the streets stopped & pointed & took pictures!

Just finished *The Lost Symbol*…I enjoyed it. Makes me more curious about my own country’s Capital!

Have fun painting that turtle! 😀

The picture is beautiful – it is a shame that isn’t bigger but still pretty in its small form.

I’ve not heard of The Forgotten Garden but I have read The Secret Garden.

Snow always seem really novel to me – it’s never really snowed properly here.
