There And Back Again

Hospital StayIf you follow me on Facebook, you will know that I was trapped yet again on the dermatology ward of the local hospital over the last 9 days. The main reason for the stay was the infection on the infection ( = Super-Infection ). Nothing spectacular, but my legs did look crazy and they were also terribly swollen. The Ekzema was on its way all over my body, so we had to intervene. Any infection on an immune suppressed being is not good. They all know me there so its really not that bad. But I hate to waste so much time in there, because all these stays do is fight the symptoms, so frustrating! Its back so fast and then it was all for nothing, yet again. Oh well. I was able to go to Uni while in there, that was the most important thing.

I started my Jiddish course! I am so excited about this because it is a total novum in Austria! *bounces* Its not easy and I will really need to keep up. But its a highlight to finally learn something that not everyone already knows or learned. 😛

Der verborgene GartenI started to read The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and its actually pretty good. Its a book you can just read and read and read. Its not nerve wrecking, not too exciting, just a lovely read on a rainy day. I am about 1/3 through.

Other than that, I am doing quite good with practicing guitar every day (on the days that I have actually been home). Going quite ok so far. The week without this damn distribution center was so amazingly peaceful and nerve saving, that I decided I need more of it! So I went ahead and applied for Reha again. Its going in the mail tomorrow and then the wait will start (again).

Tomorrow we are going to the movies to watch Jud-Suess. Uni on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is my guitar lesson… a long week ahead.

The weather is awful and I expect the first snow this week. ❗

Have a good one everyone! ➡

Jud SuB!! I had to watch that at university for one of the modules….

    Hope you’re feeling better.

Glad the guitar is going well. I’d love to hear you play some more.

Sorry for the shortness of this comment – totally exhausted xx

Sorry about your skin…but glad you were able to get some rest away from the rat race.

    Alles Liebe

@Lucy: Where did you watch Jud Suess Lucy? Because the movie itself is forbidden here. What I watched is a movie about the movie itself. And that was already really intense! For you all the best too and lots of hugs! ➡

Bin neugierig was du zum Film sagst.

I actually received the DVD of Jud Suess as a gift last Christmas…I had never heard of it before & then I found out it was illegal to own in Germany & I guess Austria as well. Apparently it is available here in the US.

I am very interested in all things historical & old films, so I watched it from that perspective. I had heard about the *film about the film* but have not seen that yet.

    *hugs* to you too!

Well we also had to watch another Jewish film (we were doing a WW2 module) created by the Gemans called The Wandering Jew which was meant to disgust, so Jew SuB was nice in comparison.

What did you think of this week’s House?
