This years Britains Got Talent, crazy! I have been watching it since 3 years now and there is nothing better than people walking in, who are judged at that second who then go on to surprise the world by their talent! Like Paul Potts and especially Susan Boyle. I normally hate embedded YouTubes. But this one, I saw yesterday, and I am so pleased of how good these two people did. The boy deserves a break so bad! So much talent and so little confidence. Crazy. But what do we learn from this: sometimes life is good. Good for him, and her!
I didnt like Malakai though, the little boy who bursted into tears during his audition. But there a lot of other great acts this year, cant wait for the Semi-Finals!
Other than that, this was a more quiet week. I got tomatoe plants from a woman in my delivery area, I had an exam at Uni, which went quite ok, another hospital appointment… doctor wants to email me again… without words. 😎 And I cant stand to stay inside when its that nice outside. So I try to get out in the evening, to do some “build-off-stress-walks”.

Austria is the hottest place in all of Europe this weekend. We are having over 30 degrees Celsius, in April! Mad mad mad. 🙄
I read Momo this past week and I like all of its metaphors and life lessons, great for kids, who probably cant appreciate everything that the author hid beneath his words:
“…it’s like this. Sometimes, when you’ve a very long street ahead of you, you think how terribly long it is and feel sure you’ll never get it swept. And then you start to hurry. You work faster and faster and every time you look up there seems to be just as much left to sweep as before, and you try even harder, and you panic, and in the end you’re out of breath and have to stop–and still the street stretches away in front of you. That’s not the way to do it.
You must never think of the whole street at once, understand? You must only concentrate on the next step, the next breath, the next stroke of the broom, and the next, and the next. Nothing else.
That way you enjoy your work, which is important, because then you make a good job of it. And that’s how it ought to be.
And all at once, before you know it, you find you’ve swept the whole street clean, bit by bit. what’s more, you aren’t out of breath. That’s important, too…”
Have a very good week everyone, as always!

OMG! That boy’s voice! Thanks for posting Connie…I had tears in my eyes when the 1st notes came out of his mouth…& even more so when he stood by his friend! I hope they go far! (we don’t get that version of the show here.)
Have a good week yourself! 😀

@Lucy: These things always make me cry, good to know that I am not alone! 😆 He is quite a star, isnt he. And completely damaged by the world. When will they learn. I am very sure that they will make it into the final, these canditates always at least make the final two!
There is a dog act I am really fond off, too. Love dog acts! As does Simon Cowell. 😉 Be well dear Lucy!

Holy Cripes! I just went to YouTube…Ashleigh & Pudsey?! That was the most AMAZING dog dance act I’ve ever seen (not that I make a habit of it!) …WOW!!! I am in love with Pudsey!
That show is so apples vs. oranges, isn’t it? How to decide between opera & a dancing dog? I say everybody wins! ;-D

@Lucy: I know, these two are amazing! There was a dog act a few years back, also a dog and a girl, they made it under the top 5 I believe, I am sure these two will do great as well! The Flintstones act was brilliant!
There is an I-Pad / I-Phone app that is called “Film On”, you can watch all the Itv programes on it including Britains Got Talent and The Cube! Ugly Betty is on there, too. They also show Carry On movies from time to time.

Thanks for the heads-up on the iPad app…I’m hoping to get one this summer! Then I can catch up on all ITV- all the time!
I’ve been thinking about Pudsey all day! I would love to see a documentary on how she trained him to do that! People who deny the intelligence of animals are nuts!

@Lucy: We made a visit to the police dogs in one on my Uni seminars and you train dogs, no matter for what, always the same way. Dogs are very materialistic. They do everything when they know that the will get a reward for it. The dog that was shown to us did absolutely everything for a gummy sausage toy. Whenever he did something right, she played with him with this toy. He loved it! Nikki never does anything when she is not up to it. 😈 But a documentation on how the girl did it, would be really interesting, I totally agree!

@Lucy: PS.: Make sure you watch the Semi Final of Ashley and Pudsey Lucy, they were just on and absolutely brilliant, especially the last pose, incredible! âž¡

Have you seen the show *Kommissar Rex*? I think it was Austrian before it became Italian. Anyway, it’s my absolute favorite tv show…I watch it 2x a week…unfortunately it’s dubbed in Spanish! (which I know about 3 words)…but I love the DOG! He is the best actor..& I know they’ve had several dogs play the part…but again how wonderful to train a dog!…or have them train us too! Right Nikki?!
OMG! I must go watch YouTube now…I’ve been telling everyone here about PUDSEY!
6:11 am on May 7th, 2012
Huh, with all that talk coming from you two I’ll now HAVE to google Pudsey… :-O that’s the dog, right?

They won their Semi Final yesterday. I am very sure they will be under the top 2 in the finale! Today the two from the YouTube on top will be in their Semi Finale! Cant wait, good acts this year!

@Connie: Soon as I logged on tonight I went & checked the news! Woohoo! Just watched A&P 3 times! Can’t get enough of them. Jonathan & Charlotte will have wonderful careers too…!!!!
9:05 am on May 13th, 2012
@Lucy: I know. I watched them a bunch of times, too. They were ingenious yesterday. Their routine perfectly matched their song. I was a bit sad for Jonathan and Charlotte, but they werent sad at all. I am sure they will do well. There were great acts yesterday, a bunch of people could have won!!!
