The Oddities Of People

New FlickR, how do you like it? Takes some getting used to. 😮

This week was way too stressful, with radiation at pretty much unmanageable times, then block of classes on two consecutive days… lots and lots of thinking… why do we hold on to unhealthy things anyway… I have absolutely no idea, and still I do it, in all areas of life. 💡 Logically it is so simple, if something makes you more miserable, than it is not good for you. I think being able to let go is one of the most healthy traits that a person can posses. And I am obviously no champion in that apartment, quite honestly: I suck.

Then we had to deliver the phone books for this year… hundreds of them. As I had such a busy week ahead of me, I was the first person that was done with delivering them. 🙄 Some havent even started. My group leader was shocked and asked me “when did you do all that”? Well, with no time on my hands, you have to do everything veeeeeery quickly. And I did. 🙂

My nerves are horrid. All resources that I have available are busy with one thing still!, and when something else comes around that needs dealing with… I do remember screaming at people at work on Friday, even telling my chef that I have absolutely no nerves left. 🙁 Friday was an absolutely horrible day. It started way early at 5.00 am an it didnt end until I went to bed, and it was a looooog day. One bad thing after the other, with the absolute highlight in the end. You dont even want to know. 😯

And of course I keep wondering if MTX is really the way to go. I dont think I want it. But with whom to talk about options? Certainly not the people at the hospital. I was doubtful about the Rituximab as well, but I think MTX is just so much worse. I shouldnt even be in the position to have to think about those kind of things, let alone know what they are, really!

Favourite Emma photo of the week:

And we spoiled ourselves with French Toast this morning. Totally delicious:

Lots of problems that need to be solved. Life could be a lot easier. Sigh. Rewatching Pushing Daisies makes me happy though, and it really makes me want to bake apple pie. Mmmmmh.
