Gastritis, Not Nice To Meet You

WHAT A DAY! First of the US elections, oh how I cannot wait to find out who won, the craziest election this world ever had! Much more interesting than the repeat of the Austrian election, what does that say about me? (< - who cares)

I had the worst day today. I woke up at around 2.00am because of horrible stomach cramps. Then I started to feel ravenously sick on top of it, then I started to puke. It was then 4.30am. The flu is going around at work, lots of people missing and we dont have replacement anymore, no one stays! So I get dressed, hop into the car. I have a bad fit of chills. I realize going to work might not be the smartest idea (right after my weekend cookie baking!). I get to work, tell my team leader I am sick but will try what is possible. I managed 5 minutes until I couldnt manage it anymore and drove back home. Stomach cramps and sickness didnt leave at all all day, it was bad! I took something against the sickness. It came back up almost instantly. So I didnt eat or drink until 30 minutes ago, 8.oo pm. This is what being sick looks like in our household: to wrestle with the dog over the best place on the sofa!

I went to the GP and he thinks I have Gastritis. I got medication and if it doesnt get better or comes back we have to look into the stomach. HELL NO! Not everything is here to stay. 😉 But I guess with all the little pills I have to take since years, its no wonder my stomach isnt too happy. I get to stay home 2 more days.

No mail went out into my delivery area today. No people. But not my problem.

Stay well you all! Being sick sucks.

    Feel better Connie!

Election results horrifying….truly frightening. Country in shock. Tell Emma to shove over & make room for me on that sofa too!
